Deadman’s Cay Airport (LGI) is gearing up for a big comeback — expected to reopen in September and already accepting flight bookings! Early schedules may be limited as the airport ramps back up, but this is fantastic news for guests wanting the most direct arrival to Long Island.

For now, many travelers still choose Stella Maris Airport (SML) for the smoothest, most reliable arrival. If you’re flying into Stella Maris on Makers Air, you’re welcome to rent a car right at the airport and enjoy the gorgeous scenic drive down — or simply relax and take a taxi.
